Sips & Stories - Saturday, May 4th
Join us on Saturday, May 4th, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. for Sips and Stories, a free event featuring incredible storytelling, a complimentary wine bar, and charcuterie.
From 5-7 pm, Lara Messersmith-Glavin, the celebrated author of "Spirit Things," shares childhood adventures amidst the vast expanse of the Alaskan coast, offering insights into the hidden realms of myth and the profound significance of everyday objects found aboard fishing boats. The Starry Night Inn is the perfect place to stay for your next residency. The off-season is beautiful at the coast. We offer our artist residency from October 1st till March 1st.
A room in the Victorian Lodge is available for a 4 night/5 day minimum stay starting as low as $240 + a 20% service fee & lodging taxes. This breaks down to $60 per night to stay in one of our rooms.
Our cabins alongside the Victorian Lodge can for booked for a 4 night/5 day minimum stay starting as low as $320 + 20% service fee & lodging taxes. This breaks down to $80 per night to stay in one of our cabins.

Acrylic Painting Class
Schedule an art class during your stay with us! Dawning offers a step-by-step acrylic paint class featuring landscapes and aquatic life. Materials will be provided for the class. Classes are held in our lobby or on our front porch. This private two hour class costs $42 per guest but, can only happen if two or more students sign up. Enjoy complementary coffee, tea, pastries or imbibe with a cocktail during your painting class.
